The spa is in the room

Three flagship rooms have their own multi-jet spa shower.

Marble or travertine to the ceiling. A stainless wall panel with a rainfall head, a handheld, and four wall-mounted body jets. Pebble-stone or curved tile floors. The same spec, in three different rooms — book the room, the spa is already in it.

What it's made of

We name the materials because, in a small spa, the materials are the experience.

  • Heart-pine

    1903 panelling

  • Beeswax

    Hand-poured tapers

  • Eucalyptus

    Hung in the sauna

  • Cedar

    Sauna walls + bench

  • Linen

    Italian, washed soft

  • Spring water

    Cold rinse only

  • Loose tea

    Steeped on arrival

  • Spanish moss

An hour, beat by beat

How the body lets go.

A loose framework for what most Heart-Pine Hour guests feel, minute to minute. Different bodies, different days — same arc.

  1. 0:00hr : min

You walk in, you stop talking.

The door closes behind you and the noise of the day stays outside. Robe, slippers, a small ceramic cup of something warm. Nobody asks how your week's been — the room does.

  2. 0:10hr : min

    Cedar, low light, slow breath.

Ten minutes in the sauna with hanging eucalyptus and one amber lamp. No clock you have to look at. Your shoulders drop a quarter-inch, then another.

  3. 0:12hr : min

    Cold, sharp, on purpose.

Two minutes under the courtyard rinse — Florida-cold, not Nordic-cold. Loud breath, clear head. You'll laugh out loud the first time. Most people do.

  4. 0:25hr : min

    Slow, considered hands.

The therapist's pace is set to calm a nervous system, not entertain it. Heart-pine walls, beeswax burning, a Florida breeze through the shutters. Time loses shape.

  5. 1:30hr : min

Tea on the porch. Don't rush.

A cup of something herbal, a hammock if you want one, the brick courtyard going honey-colored outside. We don't rush you out the door — the ritual ends when you say it does.

What we believe

A small spa, on purpose.

I designed this spa around a question I kept asking myself in other people's spas: why does this feel like a service and not a ritual? So we made fewer things. A short menu. Three signature rituals. One sauna. One porch. One person at a time in the quiet room.

We don't upsell. We don't run two treatments back to back in the same room. We pad time on either side of every booking so you never feel rushed in, rushed out, or rushed through. The tea is real, not a prop. The candles are beeswax. The room is built of heart-pine that's older than your grandparents.

If you tell me what you're carrying when you arrive, I'll point you to the ritual that fits. That's the whole pitch.

Coming with people

Coming with people

Two ways to bring your people.

One is shared, scheduled, and budget-friendly. The other is a private buyout — the whole spa wing, no other guests, your group on the porch with the kettle on. Both end with lunch.

Friends Day

4–8 guests · 3 hr
$165/ guest

Shared sauna circuit, treatments in shifts, lunch on the porch. Treatments run in shifts so the porch is always full. We pour a sparkling thing on arrival and a real thing with lunch.

Spa Buyout

$1,450flat

All treatment rooms, sauna, courtyard, host. Yours alone. No other guests anywhere on the property during your block. Bring the playlist. We'll set the table on the porch and stack the towels how you like them.

For 8+ guests, ask about pairing a buyout with a courtyard evening — the spa wing closes at 4, the long table is laid by 6.

Why slots move quickly

Small by design. Genuinely small.

Three treatment rooms, two therapists, one sauna. The slow pace is the product — which means the calendar is honestly tight.

Weekend availability

Heart-Pine slots

Remaining 90-min Heart-Pine Hour bookings this month. UF home weekends usually go first.

The ceiling

3 rooms · 2 LMTs.

That's the whole capacity. We don't add chairs, we don't double-book the sauna, and we don't take walk-ins on weekends.

Why slow

30-min pad, every time.

We leave half an hour between every booking so no one is ever rushed in or rushed out. It's also why the day fills.

Same-week openings happen — call and we'll find one.
