Depot Village at dusk: the sage-green Heron House and yellow Porch & Pour Victorians glowing on either side of a brick-paver courtyard, string lights criss-crossing under a century-old live oak draped in Spanish moss, wicker chairs around a small fire
Depot Village · The guesthouse village in downtown Gainesville

A villageyou canactually book.

A quiet courtyard inlaid with Augusta Block pavers - dug from rich Georgia earth, fired almost to stone, shipped across the South, laid by hand. An elegant pair of historic Victorian houses, whose deep, honey-amber heart pine floors whisper of the harvested heart of the Southern longleaf forest - milled into boards, laid by hand, and preserved through generations. And that's just what's under your feet.

Rooms from $75 · Spa rituals from $65 · Gatherings up to 30
The first five minutes

Park once. Drop your bag.
Exhale.

A latte at the porch. Your room is a few quiet steps across a courtyard inlaid with brick pavers. Downtown, the spa, and the courtyard fire — all already on the property, all already yours.

What this place is

Hand-built.
One of a kind.

Unmistakably downtown Gainesville — galleries, restaurants, and the rail-trail are all a short walk away. Then quiet again by nine, with the live oak above and the city held at arm's length.

Six rooms, no two alike. A spa wing for the body. A porch for the morning and the evening. A courtyard for everyone in between.

Guest voices
Every corner has a cool detail like art in every nook and cranny which adds soooo much CHARACTER. The renovations are gorgeous and classy. So thankful for this location and the hospitality of the owner.

Common questions

Good to know.

Call concierge: (352) 555-0142 →
Do I have to stay overnight to use the spa?+

No. Day visits and ritual-only bookings are welcome — Tuesday through Sunday, by appointment. Staying overnight simply lets you settle in longer.

How big can a gathering be?+

Seated dinners up to about 18 guests at one long table. Standing receptions up to about 30. For larger groups we recommend a full property buyout.

Can we drink wine or beer at our gathering?+

Yes — wine and craft beer are available through the property's license. Service stays calm and hospitality-focused; the focus is the gathering, not the bar.

Can we reserve the whole property?+

Yes. Full buyouts pair beautifully with private wellness retreats, multi-night family events, and curated dinners.

How quickly will I hear back?+

Right away — call our concierge at (352) 555-0142 to talk to a person, or book online for instant confirmation.

Is the property accessible?+

The brick courtyard, the Heron House front porch, and the Buddha Room are step-light. The Florida Room, Downtown Studio, and Treehouse Suite are reached by stairs. Tell us your needs and we'll match you to the right room.
